Junior Business Analyst (Security Domains)

Summary: The Junior Business Analyst (Security Domains) role involves supporting the rollout of a new standard, gathering metrics, and monitoring non-compliances while collaborating with Data Engineering teams to automate data processes. The position is suitable for recent graduates, as training will be provided. Key responsibilities include addressing data risks, executing data cleansing, and ensuring effective communication across various levels. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage confidential information with integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Addressing data risks and gaps.
• Execution of data cleansing to prepare data for analysis.
• Self-starter, proactive and flexible.
• Dealing with confidential and private information with integrity and sensitivity.
• Good communicator (written and oral), ability to provide directions to others, ability to competently and confidently deal with people at all levels.
• Sound experience in processes and procedures, well-organised and structured, ability to plan, to balance different requirements and prioritise own workload.
• Required skills include proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong analytical abilities, with a methodical approach, sound judgement and close attention to detail.
• Problem solving - ability to think unconventionally and find solutions to unstructured problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate difficult or complex ideas clearly and constructively.
• Collaborative, able to drive agreement across varying stakeholders and confident in negotiating and influencing colleagues or stakeholders.
• Experience within Risk and Control / Policies/Frameworks is preferred however, not essential.
