Summary: The Junior Business Analyst role involves supporting cloud refresh initiatives and operational improvements within a financial services program. The position requires collaboration with a Senior Business Analyst and focuses on analysis, tracking, and coordination of AWS cloud migration workstreams. The successful candidate will ensure effective documentation and issue management while contributing to workflow establishment. This is a 6-month initial contract based in Glasgow, requiring 4 days onsite work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support analysis activities across cloud refresh initiatives within AWS environments
- Track and manage bugs, control issues, and operational findings
- Collate and structure information from multiple sources into clear, usable outputs
- Assist in establishing and documenting workflows and processes
- Work closely with the senior Business Analyst to support delivery and coordination
- Contribute to identifying gaps, risks, and areas for improvement within processes
- Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of issues and resolutions
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role
- Strong academic background
- Experience working in structured or regulated environments
- Exposure to cloud environments, preferably AWS
- Experience in tracking defects, bugs, or control issues
- Strong organisational and documentation skills
- Ability to gather, structure, and present information clearly
- Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
