On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Junior Business Analyst x2 (Inside IR35) for a 12 month contract based remotely but does Include a minimum of 2 days a week on site in the Bristol Abbey wood location

The successful candidate's will be providing support to the data and information team in carrying out tasks to help clear the backlog of work and to help maintain internal operations.
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.
As a Junior Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:
- Developing information management plans (as required by project management methodology)
- Reviewing documents and records for compliance against legislation
- Support data protection requirements and data protection audits
- Supporting teams in information management activities, such as information asset management, SharePoint sites management
- Managing meetings and ensuring actions are tracked and completed
- Creating and maintaining dashboards in Power BI
- Supporting information governance processes including creation of reports and presentations
- Facilitating workshops and engagement sessions
Essential Skills
- Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders to obtain information
- Experience in the analysis of data as part of a support role across a busy job role
- Stakeholder engagement at all levels
- Good questioning techniques
- Administration and calendar management
- Secretariat skillset and experience
- Microsoft Office applications Including Sharepoint
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong self starter
