Summary: The Junior Branch Merchandiser role is designed for an enthusiastic and resourceful individual who will contribute to the growth of the company by managing retail sales, profit, and availability KPIs for specific categories or regions. This position serves as a key interface between demand planning and retail teams, ensuring optimal stock management and trading strategies. The role involves frequent store visits, promotional event launches, and close collaboration with various teams to maximize retail performance. The position is a fixed-term contract for 12 months with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers category and territory specific retail sales, profit, and availability KPIs.
  • Responsible for trading stock once it hits a DC, in line with product life cycle.
  • Using analysis to quantify risks and opportunity and then communicating to leadership team.
  • Is a regional expert, knows the key needs of region, champions those needs to the wider business.
  • Feeding knowledge and lessons learnt into future buying strategy.
  • Launches promotional events in store, maximising opportunities and ensuring timely allocation to meet launch dates.
  • Responsible for regional availability, managing the balance of stock between web and retail.
  • Maintaining accurate distribution forecasts, and ensuring that stocks are sufficient to achieve performance KPIs.
  • Strong relationship with Retail teams, communicating key information to support them in trading the regions.
  • Visits stores frequently, understands opportunities and communicates feedback effectively.
  • Follows through the season launch critical path, ensuring that all key actions are executed on time.
  • Responsible for the timely and best possible launch of new stores, communicating and addressing any issues to wider business.
  • Identifies and communicate sales/stock risk and opportunities across regions and markdowns/mark ups required to maximise sell through/profit.
  • Has strong relationship with supply chain to ensure stock is distributed as efficiently as possible.
  • Trading the warehouse stock pot to clear stocks in line with identified product live-cycle and margin budgets.
  • Leads by example, as a role model within Branch Team.
  • Develops, coaches and supports team members to fulfil their potential.
  • Identifies process opportunities for improving efficiencies and supports system developments and improvements.
  • Close communication with Retail, Merchandising and Supply chain.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, resourceful, hardworking Junior Branch Merchandiser who will grow with the company and add value to our fast growing team. This person will Deliver category specific retail sales, profit, and availability KPIs, for a smaller region or category than a Branch Merchandiser. Responsible for trading stock once it hits a DC, inline with product life cycle. The key interface between demand planning and Retail teams. Manages a territory to ensure that retail space and availability is potentialised, and that retail profit is maximised. Fix term contract: 12 month Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, two from home
