Junior Aerodynamics Rapid Prototype Technician

Summary: The Junior Rapid Prototype Technician at Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team will support the Applied Science Manufacturing function by operating and maintaining Rapid Prototype machines, preparing model components, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and teamwork in a high-pressure environment. The position is a fixed-term contract until April 2026, contributing to the team's pursuit of excellence in Formula One racing. Key Responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining Rapid Prototype machines.
• Preparing and finishing model components to the required standard.
• Maintaining accuracy of deliveries by updating electronic status systems.
• Supporting machine programming activities.
• Establishing best practice and cost-effective manufacturing and surface finishing solutions.
• Prioritizing workload in conjunction with RP programmers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensuring processes are operated safely and maintained according to manufacturer recommendations and risk assessments.
• Managing and maintaining stock of consumables used in part preparation.
• Assisting with the development and support of departmental processes and procedures.
