The Role:

Our Global Business Analyst role is based in the Global IT department. It is important to forge strong working relationships within the business functions and with colleagues across all global and regional IT. The Global SAP solution has many aspects in which need supporting, Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Project Systems (PS), Integration with SAP BW (Including BPC) and Oracle FCCS. It is a self sufficient role, with plenty of responsibility to manage your own work load / priorities.

Accountabilities:

• Support the R2R (R2R) Work Stream of PZ Cussons’ Global SAP solution
• Act as a custodian for the Global business processes supported by SAP to help drive consistency across the regions
• Promote business process adoption and the application of standard SAP wherever possible
• Analyse proposed changes to the SAP environment in order to assess their merit, feasibility, impact, strategic alignment and priority
• Translate business requirements for SAP changes so that the AMS provider can fully understand what needs to be delivered, with minimised need for any rework once the solution has been submitted for testing
• Manage and co-ordinate the testing and training of changes to benefit your team and the global business
• Provide deep SAP application knowledge in relevant areas on best practices and troubleshooting techniques to help drive improvements in the solution
• Support the change/release plan to ensure changes are timely and well-managed
• Make your mark and have your say, provide input and advice to the Design Authority, helping to ensure that correct decisions are made

Key Skills / Requirements:

• Attained a degree in a business or IT-related course
• Acts calmly in high pressure situations
• The ability to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders along with third party vendors
• Excellent knowledge of business processes gained through either working in a business environment or through exposure to ERP implementations and support
• 7+ years’ experience of implementing and / or supporting ERP systems ideally using SAP within an FMCG international environment
• Experience of working in a matrix organisation
• Technical knowledge of relevant SAP ECC modules
• Good knowledge of SAP BW is beneficial for the role
• Successfully working in cross functional teams
• Experience of initiating and supporting business process improvements through the use of IT
• Ability to demonstrate planning and organizational skills, and strong stakeholder management
