Summary: The JD Edwards Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing the entire lifecycle of JD Edwards ERP programs, ensuring successful project delivery through effective oversight of cross-functional teams and communication with stakeholders. This role involves aligning JDE systems with business objectives, managing resources, and facilitating change management to promote smooth adoption of new processes. The Program Manager also ensures quality standards are met and promotes continuous improvement within the JDE program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of JD Edwards ERP program(s).
- Oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact between senior leadership, business units, and the implementation team.
- Work closely with key business leaders to translate strategic goals into actionable JDE solutions.
- Ensure alignment of JDE systems with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and manage resource capacity and project risks.
- Facilitate change management activities for smooth adoption of new JDE processes.
- Ensure quality standards are met through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Oversee user training initiatives and provide ongoing support for end users.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the JDE program.
- Prepare and manage program budgets and monitor project expenses.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the program's lifecycle.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in project/program management focused on JD Edwards ERP systems.
- Proven experience managing large-scale ERP implementations, upgrades, or integrations with JD Edwards.
- Strong knowledge of JD Edwards modules (e.g., Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, HR).
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards tools and configurations, including EnterpriseOne, Orchestrator, and Report Workbench.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, databases, and integrations related to JD Edwards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and contractors in JD Edwards projects.
