Summary: The role of JavaScript Developer involves leading full-stack development using Vue.js and Node.js, with a focus on architecture and code ownership. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-stack development using Vue.js and Node.js.
- Take full ownership of architecture and code.
- Implement TypeScript in development processes.
- Work with real-world APIs including authentication, REST, RPC, GraphQL, and tRPC.
- Utilize Server Side Rendering and Edge Rendering techniques.
- Conduct testing including Unit, Component, and Automation testing.
- Collaborate using design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Experience with Vue 3 for frontend development.
- Knowledge of Node.js to complete the tech stack.
- Real-world API experience.
- Testing experience with tools like Cypress and Playwright.
- Competency in design tools (Figma / Adobe XD).

JavaScript Developer £450 p/d (Outside IR35) Manchester Hybrid - Tuesday and Thursday are office days. We are seeking a contract JavaScript Developer at lead level for a role in Manchester. Think full stack Vue.js and Node.js and taking full ownership of architecture and code. TypeScript is a must and insurance experience would be a huge help.
Essential skills needed:
- TypeScript an absolute must
- Vue 3 needed as mainly frontend
- Node needed to complete the tech stack
- Real-world API experience: authentication, REST, RPC, GraphQL, tRPC
Desired skills:
- Server Side Rendering and Edge Rendering chops
- Testing experience: Unit, Component, Automation (Cypress, Playwright – the usual suspects)
- Design tool competency (Figma / Adobe XD)
