Summary: The role of a React Developer/Software Engineer involves creating high-quality front-end web applications using React.js and NextJS, while also supporting server-side rendered applications with AWS Lambda. The position requires collaboration within an Agile team to enhance eCommerce and service web applications, ensuring code quality and adherence to technical strategies. The developer will also contribute to the team's technical direction and mentor junior members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create well-crafted front-end web applications using React.js and NextJS.
• Support and develop server-side rendered web applications utilizing AWS Lambda.
• Write resilient code that is continuously tested, deployed, and performs at scale.
• Test front-end applications end-to-end with various testing methodologies.
• Collaborate within a self-organizing Agile team to build high-traffic eCommerce and service web applications.
• Contribute to the team’s technical direction and improve tools and processes.
• Ensure code aligns with technical strategy focusing on performance, resilience, security, and monitoring.

Key Skills:

• Solid commercial experience in React/Redux development.
• Understanding of development best practices such as TDD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, Concourse) and testing frameworks.
• Ability to optimize web applications for performance, security, and resilience.
• Enthusiasm for pushing improvements across the code base and engaging with a developer community.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
• Desirable experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, NextJS, GraphQL, and Cypress.
• Knowledge and experience with AWS Lambdas.
