Java / Spring Boot Developer – Banking - Contract Our banking client is looking for an experienced Java / Spring Boot Developer to join their technology team, working on the development and enhancement of business-critical applications within a fast-paced financial services environment.
You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable Java applications and Spring Boot microservices , working closely with architects, product owners and other engineering teams to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices
- Previous experience within banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito and automated testing
- Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker and CI/CD
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development
- Strong coding, problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working on high-volume, enterprise-scale applications is desirable
