Java Spring Engineer AWS DevOps Contract Role £75 per hour Inside IR35 Digital Skills are working with a leading brand, working in Digital travel and online commerce. The client are updating their systems and require a core Java Spring engineer to work on their back end. You will be working as part of a team of 6, helping to engineer finance and payments systems, modernising them in line with bast practice for new integrations.
About the role This is a remote requirement - however the idea candidate will be able to get in to Manchester up to twice per month. You will be working for a global brand who are going through expansion and upgrades. They need you to help develop the back end, working in an agile way and working within a IaaS using AWS DevOps.
Core Skills For this role, you must be a solid engineer with excellent skills in:
- Java Spring Boot
- AWS DevOps
- Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code using TypeScript and AWS CDK
- Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
Nice to have include: Python, Node Js and data experience using Apache Spark. The environment you are working in is a payment system, which is a regulated system and therefore requires you to have experience in regulation such as Sarbanes Oxley (SOX). The ideal candidate will be mid weight, there is no need to have any managerial experience, however you must have solid communication skills.
