The role
Develop and enhance production systems using Java & Spring Boot
Build and maintain scalable, resilient microservices
Work within modern API and event-driven architectures
Contribute to technical design, development and continuous improvement
Collaborate with experienced engineers, architects and product teams
Write clean, well-tested and maintainable code
Work on systems operating at significant scale within a complex financial environment
What they're looking for
Strong commercial experience with Java
Excellent Spring Boot experience
Strong understanding of microservices and REST APIs
Good knowledge of multithreading, concurrency and core Java
Experience with testing, CI/CD and modern development practices
Experience working within large-scale or enterprise environments
Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential
