Summary: Our international client is seeking a Java Developer for a freelance B2B contract lasting 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension. The role requires on-site work in Belfast for three days a week, complemented by two remote days. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java applications using frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Optimize SQL queries and performance tuning for large datasets.
- Utilize AWS services for data engineering tasks.
- Implement data pipelines, ETL workflows, and event-driven architectures.
- Contribute to the development of microservices.
