Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high-performance software applications using Core Java and C++
- Build and enhance low-latency, high-throughput components within mission-critical systems
- Optimise application performance through profiling, tuning and troubleshooting activities
- Develop and support Real Time data distribution and processing platforms
- Work closely with engineering, architecture and business teams to deliver technical solutions
- Contribute to infrastructure deployments, automation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyse and resolve complex production and performance-related issues
- Participate in technical design discussions and provide input into system architecture decisions
Required Experience
- Strong commercial experience developing applications using Core Java
- Good working knowledge of C++
- Experience working within low-latency or high-performance environments
- Strong Linux systems knowledge
- Experience with network programming, performance optimisation and troubleshooting
- Understanding of distributed systems and Real Time processing architectures
- Proven ability to develop resilient, scalable and fault-tolerant applications
