Summary: The role of Java Full Stack Developer involves working with a Banking company on an initial 3-month contract basis. The position requires strong skills in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on agile software development practices. The developer will be responsible for design, implementation, and deployment of applications. This role is hybrid, allowing for a mix of on-site and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
  • Utilize strong front-end technology skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Redux, Node, and test frameworks.
  • Implement back-end technologies including Java, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, Junit, Mockito, and microservices.
  • Work with SQL, cloud technology, and messaging tools.
  • Use standard DevOps tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Nexus, Confluence, SonarQube, Veracode, GitLab, Maven, and NPM.
  • Engage in test-driven development and CI/CD, including automated testing platforms.

Key Skills:

  • Strong front-end technology skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Redux, Node, and test frameworks (e.g., Jest).
  • Strong experience with back-end technology: Java, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, Junit, Mockito, microservices.
  • Experience with SQL (MS SQL preferred), cloud technology, and messaging tools.
  • Experience with standard DevOps tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Nexus, Confluence, SonarQube, Veracode, GitLab, Maven, NPM, etc.
  • Experience with test-driven development and CI/CD, including exposure to automated testing platforms (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium).
  • Ability to actively participate in all aspects of agile software development.

Salary (Rate): £240 daily

Eames Consulting is working with a Banking company to secure the services of a Java Full Stack Developer on an initial 3 month contract basis to begin with.
