Java Full Stack Developer

Summary: This role is for a permanent Java Full Stack Developer within the government sector, requiring candidates to be based around Manchester or Leeds. The position involves a hybrid working arrangement with 5-7 days per month onsite in Manchester. Candidates must have active security clearance or be eligible for SC clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using Java 8/11 and Spring Boot.
• Implement microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Utilize JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and NodeJS.
• Manage databases using PostgreSQL.
• Apply CI/CD practices and DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Work with AWS services including ECS, EKS, API Gateway, and Serverless technologies.
• Participate in Agile methodologies and apply TDD/BDD practices.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Java 8/11 and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Angular, NodeJS).
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible).
