Summary: The Java Full Stack Developer role in Glasgow involves executing software solutions and maintaining high-quality, scalable applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular/ReactJS.   • Execute software solutions, design, development, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions.
  • Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets.
  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new technologies.

Key Skills:

  • Strong background in working with APIs, especially Open API.
  • Experience with common RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Experience with unit testing tools like JUnit and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL queries, optimization techniques, and database configuration.
  • Proficient knowledge of Multithreading and Concurrency in Java.
  • Knowledge of ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA.
  • Proven record of providing end-user support with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong infrastructure knowledge including Unix, Windows, networking, and scripting.

Job Description:

  • Executes software solutions, design, development, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient back-end and front-end software solutions using Java Spring Boot, Spring Batch and Angular/ReactJS.
