Summary: The Java Full Stack Developer role involves developing financial products that significantly impact consumers, with engineers taking ownership of the systems they create. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, etc.
- Implement business logic, database interactions, and integrations with third-party services.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement designs and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Design and manage relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Write efficient queries and optimize database performance.
- Collaborate with DevOps to deploy applications in cloud environments.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
- Debug and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Key Skills:
- Between 1-3 years experience
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Expertise in Java, React JS, HTML5
- AWS cloud Infra
- Familiar with one or more of the following: Distributed systems, NoSQL and relational databases, Distributed messaging, Transactional services
- Experience integrating with Restful web services
- Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product heads and executive level stakeholders
- Comfortable with Agile Operating Models
- Experience with microservice based architecture (preferred)
- Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, Spring, vert.X (preferred)
