Summary: The role of Java Developer involves working within an Agile Scrum team to develop innovative geospatial solutions using modern cloud technologies. The position requires active SC clearance and entails full software development lifecycle responsibilities, including designing, developing, and testing scalable cloud-based applications. The developers will also participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable cloud-based applications.
- Write clean, maintainable code and ensure quality through testing and best practices.
- Contribute to code reviews and reusable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the team in Agile ceremonies.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Java.
- Experience in cloud services development.
- Solid understanding of unit testing frameworks and practices.
- DevSecOps awareness (e.g. Tekton, ArgoCD, SonarQube) (desirable).
- Experience with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift (desirable).
- Familiarity with the Quarkus framework (desirable).
- Front-end development experience with Angular (desirable).
Salary (Rate): £525 per day
