Java Developer (Trade Clearing) - Contract Opportunity! (London)

Our client, a global consultancy are looking for a Java Developer to join one of their banking projects. This will be a Full time contract (8 hours a day/5 days per week).

Key Skills:

• Strong Java/Python engineering expertise - Extensive experience developing enterprise applications using Java (Spring Core/Spring Boot) and Python, with knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD (GitLab), TDD, secure coding, and automation Scripting (Bash/PowerShell).
• ETD Middle Office & FIS domain knowledge - Hands-on experience with FIS CD Trade Clearing (or similar ETD/Middle Office trading platforms), along with a solid understanding of clearing, financial markets, regulatory compliance, and banking systems.
• Cloud-native & enterprise platform development - Experience building scalable, production-grade applications using Azure, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), collaborating in Agile teams, and delivering reliable, high-performance solutions.

Contract Details:

• This role is paying £650 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
• 3 days per week on site in Central London
• 1 year contract, with high likelihood for extension
• Must have right to work in the UK without needing sponsorship
