Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to work on a modernization project within a core banking sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in transformative work that significantly impacts the financial industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement new software programs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Enhance and maintain existing software to ensure optimal performance and user experience .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Ensure code quality and adhere to best practices and coding standards.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Java programming.
- Experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with modern development tools and methodologies.
- Strong communication skills.
