Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering requirements from the business analyst team.
- Analyzing new technical requirements within the development team.
- Developing and unit testing applications using Java/Java 8, REST, Python, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.
- Working with AI exposure.
- Using GitHub, Jenkins, pipeline, agile methodologies, SDLC, design methodology, API, and TDD.
- Writing SQL, database procedures, and optimizing query performance.
- Participating in sprint planning, retrospective calls, and daily stand-ups for agile scrum processes.
- Reviewing JIRA and acceptance criteria for planned tasks.
- Discussing QA/UAT releases and test plans with the QA team.
- Following the release management process and planning for production turnover.
- Providing support for critical production issues.
- Keeping technical documents and project artifacts up to date.
- Planning and executing the migration of old applications to the new platform.
- Reviewing and optimizing application performance on the Java and database side.
- Completing a HackerEarth coding assessment to evaluate technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Key Skills:
- Strong programming and analytical skills in Core Java.
- Experience with Microservices Architecture using Spring Boot.
- Proficient in Restful API development, Java 8 features, and Kafka.
