Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Java services within an agile squad.
• Engage in Level 3 production support shared globally among developers.
• Travel to the Glasgow office three days a week.
• Write and tune Java code, stored procedures, and scripts as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to produce real-time product outputs.

Key Skills:

• Core Server Side Java including Data Structures and Concurrency.
• Spring, Junit.
• Linux.
• Relational Databases (preferably Sybase and/or DB2) with SQL query writing ability.
• Understanding of message-based architectures.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Full SDLC experience and understanding.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Interest in learning the business supported by the applications.
• Knowledge and desire to use agile software development practices.
