Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills:
- Strong Java (J2SE), Spring, JUnit, and JMS.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with Sybase or DB2.
- Unix/Linux scripting and some Perl knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Understanding of message-based architectures and object-oriented design.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Interest in learning the equity derivatives business.
- Experience with database performance tuning (desirable).
- Familiarity with equity derivative products (desirable).
- Exposure to agile development environments (desirable).

Global investment bank is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join their Products IT Team in Glasgow. This front-office role supports the global equity swaps business, working on a project to modernise the current trading platform.
You will collaborate with a global team to build robust, scalable systems that solve complex problems at the intersectionof finance and technology.
Previous banking experience is beneficial but not essential.
Java Developer Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong Java (J2SE), Spring, JUnit, and JMS
