We are currently looking for Java Backend developer, Java Full stack Developer and Lead Java Developer to work in public sector.
Role Overview:
* Job Title: Java Backend developer, Java Full stack Developer and Lead Java Developer
* Location: Manchester/Newcastle/London/Remote
* Contract Type: Contract until 25th Sep 2026
* Duration: contract
* Rate: £450-500 per day (Inside IR35)
* Sector: Public Sector
* Java frameworks (eg, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JSF) and libraries (eg, Apache Commons, Guava).
Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies (eg, Docker, Kubernetes, Swagger).
Public Sector Experience
* 5 Year UK Residency
* Client is based is Manchester and Newcastle, but it is expected the majority of the work will be remote, any resources need to be aware they maybe needed onsite 2 days a week in either Manchester or Newcastle and maybe London.
* Leadership experience for leader role including leading or mentoring a team, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and supporting junior developers
* Experience taking ownership of workstreams, setting technical direction and ensuring delivery against timelines
* Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, represent the team in meetings and support best practices and standards
* Comfortable acting as a technical lead or go-to person
