We're helping our retail banking client with their search for a Java engineer , who will has an excellent handle on microservices architecture. Here are the essential skills the client needs:- 4+ years of software development experience in Java, and expected to be hands-on to software development tasks Solid Experience with microservices engineering Experience with Kafka for messaging an important aspect of the role Comfortable working with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) Familiar with SDLC process A TDD approach to work and test automation (Junit, Mocking, Gherkin) Previous experience working in a retail banking environment a plus but not essential Excellent communication and follow-through, analytical, self-motivated, attention to detail a must Please note this role requires 5 days a week office attendance in our client's beautiful offices, located in Central Birmingham.
