What you’ll be doing
- Building scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices
- Developing high-throughput streaming and data-distribution solutions
- Working with Kafka, AWS Lambda and Databricks
- Delivering cloud-native services using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborating across engineering, data and platform teams
Essential skills
- Expert Java: concurrency, multithreading, collections and OOP
- Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs
- AWS, including Lambda
- Kafka and distributed streaming
- Databricks for data processing
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Spark/Flink, Python, CI/CD, Datadog or Prometheus experience is a strong advantage.
