Summary: A core Server Side Java developer is needed for a Tier 1 investment bank to support the Equity Swaps business within a global Front Office team. The role focuses on developing software for a Real Time calculation engine, utilizing various Java services and messaging systems. The developer will work in an agile environment to enhance product performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software for the Equity Swaps business within a global Front Office team.
• Work on the Real Time calculation engine and its related components.
• Collaborate within an agile squad to enhance system performance and scalability.
• Utilize multi-threaded Java, Sharded Mongo DB, and caching technologies.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for relational databases.
• Engage in full SDLC processes and agile software development practices.

Key Skills:

• Core Server Side Java including Data Structures and Concurrency.
• Experience with Spring and Junit.
• Proficiency in Linux.
• Knowledge of relational databases (preferably Sybase and/or DB2) and SQL.
• Understanding of message-based architectures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
