Key Responsibilities:
- Design, estimate, and deliver new features and enhancements as a Java Developer in line with coding and architectural standards

- Support system test, release cycles, and assist with defect resolution and production migrations
- Work closely with stakeholders, testers, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Contribute to risk tracking, reporting, and Agile/hybrid delivery ceremonies and documentation
Key Skills:
- 5+ years' experience working as a Java Developer in enterprise or public sector environments
- Strong experience with Java, relational databases (SQL; exposure to Ingres advantageous), and data formats such as XML and JSON
- Proven experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models within structured environments
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing practices, and CI/CD or release processes
- Excellent communication skills with experience mentoring or supporting junior developers

A leading consultancy client of ours responsible for digital transformation services is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a key delivery team. This Java Developer role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale systems in a standards-driven, hybrid Agile environment with strong exposure to complex data, integrations, and regulated systems.
As a Java Developer, you will contribute to both new development and enhancement work while supporting testing, releases, and ongoing system improvements. You will also play a key role in knowledge sharing and mentoring junior team members within a collaborative engineering environment.
