Summary: The role of a Java Back-end Developer with Azure/AWS involves designing and implementing microservices using the Spring Boot framework while ensuring compliance with the Software Development Life Cycle. The position requires collaboration with fellow developers and a strong understanding of cloud services, particularly Azure or AWS. The developer will also be responsible for building pipelines, debugging, and creating documentation for microservices. This is a long-term contract role based in London with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with fellow developers
- Designing and implementing microservices which use the Spring Boot framework
- Working in compliance with the full Software Development Life Cycle
- Connecting microservices to interact with databases
- Understanding of how streaming technologies work such as Kafka
- Build Azure/AWS pipelines
- Identifying and finding solutions to bugs
- Ensure adequate test cases are written to verify design requirements are being met
- Create well-written documentation for the individual microservices
Key Skills:
- JAVA SDK8 or newer
- Microservices based on Spring Boot
- Development experience with React
- Azure or AWS Services their integration & Development

Major Duties
