Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications
  • Build and enhance microservices using Spring Boot
  • Develop and deploy solutions on AWS
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other developers
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices

Key Skills:

  • Strong commercial experience with Java
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
  • Solid knowledge of AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS)
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) - Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, SQS, SNS) - Nice to Have
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) - Nice to Have

Java Developer – AWS & Spring Boot

Contract: 12 Months | £600 per day | Inside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a high-performing engineering team on a 12-month contract , working on modern, cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications
  • Build and enhance microservices using Spring Boot
  • Develop and deploy solutions on AWS
