Summary: This role involves leading the modernization of the Ivanti ITSM platform within a critical IT service management context. The consultant will work closely with global teams to enhance service delivery through automation and best practices. The position requires a strong background in Ivanti ITSM and ITIL frameworks, with a focus on continuous improvement. The role is based in Central London and requires on-site presence four days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the modernization of the Ivanti ITSM platform, identifying weaknesses and delivering improvement plans
  • Design and implement a modern self-service portal
  • Configure and optimise core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management
  • Automate workflows and integrate systems such as JIRA to enhance service delivery
  • Develop dashboards, reporting, and analytics to support data-driven decisions
  • Manage system performance, upgrades, patching, and release processes
  • Provide technical support and training to users and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure ITIL-aligned service management practices
  • Drive continuous improvement across service management processes

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience working with Ivanti ITSM in an enterprise environment
  • Strong expertise in Ivanti ITSM configuration, customisation, and administration
  • Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices (certification preferred)
  • Experience with system integrations (REST APIs, web services, data imports/exports)
  • Proficiency in SQL and reporting tools within ITSM environments
  • Knowledge of Scripting/automation tools such as PowerShell or Python
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a proactive mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a critical ITSM platform and drive a modernisation programme from the ground up. You'll work closely with global ITSM and service management teams, shaping how services are delivered across the organisation while implementing automation, integration, and best-in-class ITIL processes.

Job Type: Initial 6 month Contract
Rate: Up to £600/day (Outside IR35)
