ITSM UAT/ORT Tester

Summary: The ITSM UAT/ORT Tester role involves conducting User Acceptance Testing and Operational Readiness Testing for ServiceNow modules on a 3-month contract basis. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement with two days on-site in Berkshire. The tester will be responsible for preparing test plans, executing testing cycles, and collaborating with development teams to ensure compliance with standards. Strong knowledge of UAT/ORT methodologies and experience with ServiceNow implementations are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements and design test scenarios for ServiceNow modules (ITSM, FSM). Prepare UAT/ORT test plans, scripts, and data.
• Perform UAT and ORT cycles, validate workflows, integrations, and customizations. Conduct regression testing and document results.
• Log and track defects in Azure Dev Ops. Collaborate with developers and business teams for resolution.
• Validate deployment plans, failover, DR, and support documentation. Confirm compliance with performance and security standards.
• Work closely with automation team to help build regression packs to support future releases.
• Strong UAT/ORT methodology knowledge.
• Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, and test management tools (Azure Dev Ops).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ITSM certification.
• Experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations.
