Summary: The ITSM Technical Specialist role is a contract position focused on implementing and configuring IT Service Management tools, primarily ServiceNow and Ivanti, to enhance service delivery. The specialist will collaborate with various teams to refine ITSM processes and provide training and support to staff. This position emphasizes continuous improvement and troubleshooting within the ITSM framework. The role is available for a duration of six months and is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation and configuration of ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Ivanti, etc.) to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ITSM tools, providing expert guidance and solutions.
• Maintain system configurations and integrations, ensuring compliance with internal standards and best practices.
• Provide training and support to staff on ITSM processes, tools, and policies.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts, driving automation and process enhancements within the ITSM framework.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) best practices and frameworks.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing ITSM processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant ITSM certifications (ITIL, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist) preferred.
