Summary: The ITSM Systems Specialist role involves overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of IT Service Management tools and systems, primarily on-site in Jersey. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and continuous improvement of ITSM processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITSM tools and a solid understanding of the ITIL framework. This is a 10-month contract position classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and optimise ITSM tools (eg, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Cherwell, etc.) to ensure they meet business and operational needs.
  • Configure and maintain ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
  • Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving system issues related to ITSM.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to improve service delivery and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Assist in training and mentoring end-users on ITSM tools and processes.
  • Continuously evaluate system performance and suggest improvements or upgrades.
  • Ensure all service management processes are properly documented and up-to-date.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience with ITSM tools and systems (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
  • Experience in configuring and optimising ITSM workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting ability.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • ITIL certification or related qualifications is a plus.

Salary (Rate): £450
