IT Systems Project Manager (CMMS or Maximo)

Role: IT Systems Project Manager

Duration: 12 month contract

Start: by mid-August

Rates: £400- £450pd outside IR35

Location: Teesside, onsite 3 days per week

The role

is to manage the enhancement of our partners existing Maximo system while leading the selection and implementation of a new Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and integrated finance system.

You will work with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and with minimal disruption to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of IT systems projects from planning through to implementation.
• Manage Maximo system improvements and support the delivery of new business systems.
• Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders, suppliers and project teams.
• Support system selection, implementation, data migration and integration activities.
• Manage project risks, budgets, timelines and reporting.
• Lead user engagement, communications, training and change management activities.
• Ensure projects deliver agreed business outcomes.

About You

• You will have:
• At least 5 years’ experience managing IT or business systems projects.
• CMMS / Maximo management experience
• Strong project management, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with system implementations, process improvements and change management.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience of working with O&G, construction or petrochemical companies is desirable but not essential
