Summary: The IT Support Engineer role involves providing 2nd to 3rd line support for an innovative technology company in Edinburgh, focusing on clean technology solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd-3rd line IT support to internal users.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Support Windows and Apple devices.
  • Handle networking, VPNs, remote access, and infrastructure issues.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures, endpoint management, patching, and vulnerability management.
  • Work with technologies such as Azure, VMware, Cisco, or Meraki.

Key Skills:

  • Strong 2nd-3rd line IT support experience.
  • Administration of Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Azure AD.
  • Support for Windows and Apple devices.
  • Knowledge of networking and VPNs.
  • Experience with cybersecurity and endpoint management.
  • Exposure to Azure, VMware, Cisco, or Meraki technologies.

Hybrid Edinburgh £250-275 per day OUTSIDE IR35

I'm currently recruiting for an IT Support Engineer position with an innovative technology company based in Edinburgh. The business develops advanced technology solutions within the clean technology sector and is looking to strengthen its internal IT function with an experienced support professional.

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong 2nd-3rd line IT support experience
  • Administration of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
  • Experience with Azure AD
  • Support of Windows and Apple devices
