Summary: The IT Support Engineer role involves providing technical support and maintaining IT systems for a leading global organization on an initial 6-month contract. The position requires expertise in cybersecurity compliance and offers a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates will be responsible for both remote and on-site support, depending on task requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and on-site IT support to end users
- Manage user accounts and access control
- Troubleshoot and optimise computer systems
- Install, upgrade, and configure hardware/software
- Maintain networks, endpoints, and security systems
- Assist with phishing simulations and cyber awareness campaigns
- Ensure devices are patched and compliant
Key Skills:
- Experience with Office 365, Azure AD & Microsoft Intune
- Experience with IT Service Desk tools (eg AutoTask, SolarWinds, ConnectWise)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across PCs, Servers, networks & Firewalls
- Understanding of networking concepts & cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO27001)
- Knowledge of PowerShell or other Scripting languages (desirable)
