We re looking for a proactive, security-minded IT professional to support and secure our dynamic work environment. You ll handle everything from deploying essential updates to troubleshooting system issues, all while providing top-notch support for our Edinburgh office and remote workforce.




Key Responsibilities:




Security Operations

Ensure system resilience by deploying security patches across Windows OS and applications.

Hunt for unusual sign-ins, inspect suspicious emails, and set up domain blacklists.

Monitor and improve system security by enhancing Group Policy and tracing potential email threats with Microsoft Defender.




Identity & Access Management

Manage user accounts in Azure and Active Directory, including AD group membership and guest access.

Troubleshoot Azure MFA, SharePoint access, and permissions for a secure, efficient workspace.

Continuous System Improvement

Implement ManageEngine for self-service support, optimize Windows Group Policies, and maintain a tidy SharePoint environment.

Strengthen Microsoft Exchange rules for seamless communication and better data flow.




System Deployment & Configuration

Design and maintain Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for efficient system rollouts.

Manage application deployments with PowerShell, conduct Windows OS migrations, and oversee company network configurations.




General IT Support

Provide onsite support in Edinburgh, build and configure laptops, and support users remotely via Teams.

Handle mobile device support, conduct file recovery, and assist with asset management across platforms.




What We re Looking For:

Hands-on experience in Windows security, Azure AD, and Group Policy management.

Familiarity with deployment tools, PowerShell scripting, and cybersecurity best practices.

Strong communication skills and the ability to support end-users both remotely and on-site.
