Summary: The IT Service Manager role for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) focuses on enhancing IT service management through problem, event, and change management review, as well as IT service analysis reporting. This position supports the development of a comprehensive ITSM strategy across multiple Foundry services while ensuring service standards and continual service improvement. Candidates must hold SC Clearance and be eligible for checks, with preference given to those with active security clearance. The role is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days per week on-site in Corsham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support processes designed to ensure services and support functions remain responsive to customer needs
- Support processes designed to ensure the service catalogue and wider IT service operations knowledge library are maintained
- Ensure that adequate reporting and service standards are met for your specific service
- Support processes designed to ensure all technical change is communicated and managed, with appropriate governance
- Ensure that a programme of continual service improvement is put in place across the wider service delivery function
