Summary: The IT Service Excellence Analyst role at a leading business in Glasgow focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving continuous improvements in IT processes and infrastructure. This contract position involves working with global IT teams to enhance operational readiness and audit preparedness. The analyst will proactively identify risks, lead operational readiness projects, and recommend process improvements. The role is hybrid, requiring one or two days a week on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pro-actively identify risks and vulnerabilities within IT Infrastructure Services and recommend improvements.
  • Lead Operational Readiness projects.
  • Monitor and review procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in IT Service Management.
  • Strong knowledge of IT compliance, ITIL Frameworks, and operational readiness.
  • Experience of process mapping and documentation.
  • Knowledge and experience of Jira.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, ISO9001 / ISO27001.
  • Exposure to audit tools and hands-on experience with Operational Readiness practices.

Salary (Rate): £57.00/hr

Meraki Talent are delighted to be partnered with a market leading business in Glasgow who are looking for an IT Service Excellence Analyst on a contract basis to join their International Service team in their Infrastructure department.

The Role

This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, supporting operational readiness and driving continuous improvements across IT processes and Infrastructure. Working across IT teams globally, you will contribute heavily to audit readiness, process optimisation and automation initiatives.

The key components of the role will be:

  • Pro-actively identify risks and vulnerabilities within IT Infrastructure Services and recommend improvements.
  • Lead Operational Readiness projects
  • Monitor and review procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Experience

Extensive experience in IT Service Management

Strong knowledge of IT compliance, ITIL Frameworks, and operational readiness.

Experience of process mapping and documentation.

Knowledge and experience of Jira, a familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, ISO9001 / ISO27001, exposure to audit tools and hands on experience with Operational Readiness practices would all be ideal but not a must have.

On Offer

This is a day rate contract position (Inside ir35) signed off until the end of the year but had a high likelihood of extension. Based in Glasgow and will be a Hybrid set up with one or two days a week onsite.
