Summary: The IT Service Desk Technician role involves providing support in a busy, customer-facing environment for a public sector client in Dundee. The position is a 9-month contract requiring on-site presence twice a week, focusing on incident management and troubleshooting various IT systems and software. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and assets using a Service Desk tool.
  • Support common office software and systems including Microsoft Windows 10/11, Azure Services, and Office 365.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT hardware problems.
  • Work collaboratively with the IT team to improve service delivery.
  • Plan and deliver workload to meet IT service level agreements.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in a customer-facing IT Service Desk environment.
  • Knowledge of ITIL standards.
