As well as immediate availability to start work this assignment requires a seasoned IT professional, you will be working with a small team to improve service desk operations and ways of working to clear a backlog, build team moral, and improve perception and profile of the service desk across the business.
We are looking for a proactive manager, an excellent communicator with a best practice approach and a continual improvement mindset.
You will have a proven track record managing a team of service desk analysts and technicians to work smartly, providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship to drive performance and customer satisfaction. Motivating the team and creating a positive working environment, setting achievable goals, supporting, supervising and coaching the whole team to ensure they remain motivated in providing the best service for their clients.
Behaviours,approach and working style are as critical as technical skill set.
Timeline: To start ASAP (Nov 2024) for 3 - 6 months
Location: Hybrid working model, 2 days each week onsite in Nottingham/3 days UK based remote working
