Summary: The IT Service Desk Analyst role involves providing technical support to a law firm, assisting lawyers and staff with hardware and software issues. The position is hybrid based in the City of London and is initially offered as a 3-month contract with potential for extension. Candidates should have a passion for IT and prior experience in a professional services environment, particularly within a law firm. The role requires troubleshooting various applications and managing user accounts in Active Directory and Exchange.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, including laptops and applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Exchange, including email issues and distribution lists.
  • Support a wide array of legal applications such as iManage, CompareDocs, CMS, FileSite, BigHand, and Intapp.
  • Assist lawyers, paralegals, and PAs with IT-related inquiries and issues.
  • Demonstrate a passion for IT and a willingness to learn.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange/Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment, preferably a law firm.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Dynamic thinking and fast learning abilities.
  • Experience with Windows 10.

Salary (Rate): £245
