Summary: The IT Project Manager will lead a small team within the Improvement Department, managing two key transformation projects aimed at enhancing employee experience and optimizing service operations. This role requires strong stakeholder management and governance skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The position is based in Derby on a hybrid working model, requiring 2-3 days in the office each week. The contract is for an initial duration of 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating strong stakeholder management, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Strong experience in Governance and Control, implementing and maintaining governance and control processes to ensure project success.
  • Leading and managing projects to time and cost, ensuring successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Enhancing the employee experience and streamlining service operations for maximum efficiency.
  • Developing and maintaining project roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the company goals.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in leading IT transformation projects.
  • Visio experience.
  • Strong experience in governance and control processes.
  • Specific experience in IT improvement and transformational projects.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
  • Desirable: ServiceNow technical experience, Movers, joiners, leavers process experience, SPM (ServiceNow tool), Prince 2 experience.
