Summary: The IT Project Manager (Digital & Cloud) role involves leading the delivery of digital and cloud initiatives, focusing on operational stability and service performance improvements. The position requires managing both Agile and Waterfall workstreams while ensuring effective governance and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will oversee project performance and compliance, translating non-functional requirements into measurable outcomes. This is a full-time, day rate contract position inside IR35, based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and control projects in line with established delivery frameworks, budgets and timelines
  • Lead both Agile and Waterfall workstreams, ensuring effective change control, governance, risk and reporting
  • Manage vendor relationships, stakeholder engagement and programme communications at executive level
  • Oversee operations performance including incidents, problem management, service stability and availability
  • Translate non-functional requirements (performance, resilience, recoverability, supportability) into measurable outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and identification of systemic issues
  • Ensure compliance, financial tracking, and delivery assurance across projects up to $5M

Key Skills:

  • Proven Project Management experience with certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP)
  • Strong Agile & Waterfall delivery expertise
  • Experience with cloud, SaaS, digital platforms, and infrastructure environments
  • Vendor management, governance, budgeting, risk management and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong understanding of non-functional requirements and operational environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Degree and 10+ years’ IT experience (nice-to-have)
  • Experience managing projects up to $5M and teams up to 20 (nice-to-have)
  • Strong storytelling, resilience and entrepreneurial mindset (nice-to-have)
