Summary: Spencer Rose is seeking an IT Project Manager/Business Analyst for a 6-month contract with a global construction client in Central London. The role focuses on enhancing the client's IT infrastructure and involves collaboration with stakeholders during the discovery phase of a transformation program. The position is hybrid and offers a competitive daily rate. The role is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support discovery-phase activities, including stakeholder interviews, process mapping, and requirements gathering
- Assess current IT systems, infrastructure, and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Translate business needs into clear technical and functional requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to define future-state solutions
- Support the development of roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans
- Provide an external, strategic viewpoint to challenge existing assumptions and drive best practices
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and IT delivery
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in dual IT Project Manager/Business Analyst roles
- Background in infrastructure and/or digital transformation projects
- Experience working within construction, engineering, or asset-heavy industries (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience working with global teams, ideally with remote leadership
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Exposure to AI-driven solutions or emerging technologies (desirable)
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment

This role is designed to bring an external perspective to help elevate and modernize our clients current IT infrastructure. You will play a key role in shaping the future state of technology across the business, working closely with stakeholders during the discovery phase (Phase 1) of a broader transformation programme.
