Summary: The Senior IT Project Manager role in Birmingham involves leading large-scale technology and data initiatives within a dynamic digital environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of large-scale and multiple concurrent IT projects, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Manage projects supporting enterprise reporting transformation, including the decommissioning of SAP BusinessObjects (BOXI)
- Develop and manage end-to-end project plans, scope, milestones, and success criteria
- Oversee project governance, reporting, and risk management, maintaining clear visibility of progress and issues
- Manage resources, budgets, and interdependencies across complex project portfolios
- Engage and influence stakeholders across IT, Professional Services, and senior leadership
- Establish and maintain effective communication and reporting strategies
- Ensure continuity of business-critical reporting outputs during system and data platform transitions
- Drive data-led decision-making, ensuring reporting capabilities align with business needs
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices and governance frameworks
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex IT projects or programmes
- Formal Project Management certification (PRINCE2, MSP, APM or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of data, reporting, and analytics environments
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, budgets, and dependencies
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels

Network IT are working with a leading and highly respected organisation to recruit a Senior IT Project Manager . This is a key opportunity to deliver large-scale, business-critical technology and data initiatives within a complex, fast-evolving digital environment. You will play a central role in driving forward major transformation programmes, particularly around data strategy, cloud migration, enterprise reporting , and the decommissioning of SAP BusinessObjects (BOXI) , ensuring continuity and stability during periods of significant system change. Role Overview
As a Senior IT Project Manager , you will lead the delivery of large, complex, and strategically important programmes , working across IT Services and wider business functions. A key focus of this role will be supporting the transition away from legacy reporting platforms, including SAP BusinessObjects (BOXI) , ensuring continuity of critical reporting while enabling modern, cloud-based analytics capabilities. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing multiple workstreams while maintaining a clear focus on delivery, governance, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, capable of balancing competing priorities while maintaining quality and control.
