Where will you be working?
Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 10,000 people/our core employees deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across Utilities, Energy, Transport and Telecom sectors.
This role is the Technology department, IT teams design, manage and optimise IT systems to support the smooth and secure operations of the Group.
What will you be doing?
In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in planning and designing the IT aspects of an M&A programme.
Your proactive mindset will be vital in monitoring its progress, resolving issues promptly, and implementing corrective actions to keep everything on track.
You'll collaborate seamlessly with IT PMO Governance, ensuring all activities are aligned with established standards.
You'll take ownership of the programme's budget, carefully tracking expenditures and ensuring costs align with the realised benefits as the programme evolves.
Also, you'll oversee the allocation of shared resources and skills across individual projects, optimising efficiency and teamwork.
You'll skillfully manage dependencies and interfaces between projects, creating harmony across all elements of the programme.
You'll proactively address risks to ensure a successful outcome, incorporating them into Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans where needed.
Also, you'll complete the necessary governance documentation diligently, keeping everything in order and compliant.

- Extensive IT Programme Management overseeing Oracle ERP (Fusion), Salesforce and Microsoft (M365) transition programmes or projects
- Strong Stakeholder Management and communications skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels (inc. C-level)
- Skilled in Programme Governance and Reporting
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and able to switch from strategic to tactical hands-on approach
- Skilled in strategic & tactical planning and programme management
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and onsite/offshore teams simultaneously
- Experience with vendor/contract management and negotiations
