Summary: The IT Procurement Professional role requires over 3 years of experience in IT Procurement and Category Management within the IT Services industry. The position involves full ownership of end-to-end sourcing activities, aligning category strategies with group procurement policies, and driving cost reduction initiatives. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Procurement and manage supplier relationships while ensuring compliance and performance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure category (sub-categories) strategy is aligned and deployed alongside Group procurement policy and procedures.
  • Initiate, execute and manage both simple and complex RFx.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve the best possible commercial outcome.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and performance standards.
  • Drive supplier performance improvement in key areas of cost, delivery, quality and ideation.
  • Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential disruption in the supply chain.
  • Manage supplier spend, supplier contract, supplier performance and relationship.
  • Support internal/external audit compliance.
  • Escalate issues to procurement Head of Group if support needed.
  • Weekly progress report on key procurement projects.

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT Procurement/Category Management.
  • Experience in the Software and IT Services sector.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to drive cost reduction initiatives.
  • Experience in managing supplier performance and relationships.
  • Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.

3+ years of experience in IT Procurement/Category Management within IT Services industry.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Professional with experience of working within Software and IT Services sector.

You will be working for a global player across a wide range of sectors, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement. With full ownership of end-to-end souring activities, in support of business objectives, you will identify opportunities to develop and enhance procurement policies and procedures.

Job Role:

This role is begin offered on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Hybrid working - 3 days per week onsite/2 days wfh (5 days onsite required during first 8-12 weeks)
